Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Webhook Guardian (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. The Service
Webhook Guardian monitors webhook delivery logs from third-party platforms (Stripe, Shopify, GitHub, and others we add over time) and notifies you of failures. We connect via read-only OAuth and do not sit in your webhook delivery path.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@webhookguardian.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Free trial
New accounts get a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan with no credit card required. At the end of the trial you can pick a paid plan or your account will be moved to a read-only state with a 30-day grace period before deletion.
5. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can change plans or cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time, but we will issue a refund for clearly anomalous charges within 14 days — just email billing@webhookguardian.com.
6. Usage limits
Each plan has a monthly event quota. If you exceed it, we'll email you and continue monitoring; we'll never block alerts. Sustained overage by more than 25% for two consecutive months will result in an automatic upgrade to the next plan tier, with at least 7 days' notice.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to (a) violate any law, (b) attempt to break or probe our systems, (c) resell or sublicense the Service, or (d) abuse the integration platforms we connect to. We reserve the right to suspend accounts for clear violations.
8. Data and ownership
You retain ownership of all data you bring to the Service. We process it only as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no rights to your webhook payloads or business data.
9. Service availability
We target 99.9% uptime for monitoring and alerting. Business plan customers are covered by a written SLA. We do not guarantee uptime of the third-party platforms we poll (Stripe, Shopify, GitHub).
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We are an additional layer of observability, not a replacement for your own monitoring, error handling, and customer support. We are not liable for any business losses arising from missed alerts due to upstream platform outages or factors outside our control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. For material changes we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
